BRANDY MCDONALD, RN, eNLC

Brandy McDonald is a Registered Nurse (RN) with over 30 years of primary care experience. She is ANA Board certified and has obtained her Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC license). Her background in inpatient behavioral health and chronic disease management and in primary care settings assures a collaborative approach to managing health issues. Brandy’s focus has been in staff development, continuous quality improvement, and the development of programs to effectively manage the care of chronic mental health and medical conditions in jails and other various settings.

In her role at Falcon, she has assessed population needs and operational requirements, and proposed innovative models of assessment and treatment. She reviews relevant regulations with respect to the accreditation and licensures of the facilities we serve. Working in correctional and non-correctional healthcare settings, including those accredited by the Joint Commission and other community-based accreditation organizations, as well as those accredited by the American Correctional Association and the National Commission on Correctional Health Care, she understands their medical and mental health standards. Ms. McDonald has collaborated with Sheriff’s Offices to develop policies and procedures surrounding the development of a Suicide Prevention System. With this she has reviewed, evaluated, and developed comprehensive guidelines for suicide prevention programs, including operations, efficiencies, and training.
